I have recently been told by my G.P that i have costochondritus its where the bone in your chest which helps your as to move moves over to much and inlames my muscle etc, is this permanent?

This would have been a great question for your GP, dear. It is hard to say because I don't know how severe the movement is. How much off midline does it go? Does it cause breathing difficulties on inhalation? Ask your GP to send you to a thorasic specialist. These are important questions.
