for some it's a matter of pride, people remember you long after you are gone..so it makes sense to them, i suppose...

"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends"
-
if i was going to die for my family or loved one then death is welcomed to myself for the life of my daughter especially.

IS there any point in cowardice if it gets you shot in the back running away?
-
Death before dishonor
-
Bravery doesn't kill, people do.
-
Of course. If my daughter's life were at stake, I'd do it. A lot of soldier's have done it, which is a related thing. There are times. Standing up to bullies, for instance. Doing something your neighbors or society in general doesn't like. Lots and lots of good examples.

Lol. It's all good in movies, stories and Answerbag answers where people don't actually have to prove that they would die for bravery, but if it were me, fuck that. I mean all it gets is a phony speech about how grand you were, and you don't even get to hear it. There might BE a point, but nothing I'm willing to die for.
-
Yes, imagine of no one made heroic or brave attempts....you know?
-
Yes, that's "killer bravery" and it's the shit
-
If you are saving other lives, there is.
-
Bravery and acting recklessly altruistic are not the same thing. Sometimes bravery is what gets you out of death or life situations. For an example, think of the cases where someone was kidnapped and held in a basement or something for years, and then escaped. That takes bravery.
