The meaning of the song is pretty clear: God says in Exodus 20:3 "You shall have no other gods before me". That is one of the ten commandments. Your god is whoever or whatever you value most important to you; it could be your job, your career, your finances, your husband or your wife, your boyfriend or girlfriend, sex drugs or Rock-n'Roll. It can even be yourself...yes, you can be your own god if you fell as though you were the center of the Universe. Listen, in the end, there will be no doubt as to Who is the one true God. Prov. 14:12 says: "There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death. " Also, in John 14:6, Jesus said these words: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

I hope and pray that people everywhere will turn from following their idols and false gods and turn to the one true God , and receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, before it's too late....time is running out and, as the bible says, in 2 Corinthians 6:2

"Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. "
