I have a cavity that I need to have filled, but can't get it done for a couple of weeks. Will waiting those extra two weeks make the cavity a lot worse, or will it not make much of a difference?

No. Two weeks will make no difference at all. The process of tooth decay occurs over a long period of time

Avoid sugary or acidic food/drinks or rinse thoroughly after.

You can buy temporary fillings fro the Pharmact if it is sensitive, but 2 weeks will make no difference to the cavity :o)

Yes you should not delay it and rather get the same filled ASAP otherwise it can lead to crack tooth syndrome or tooth infection. If it so happens then you may have to under go Root Canal Treatment. Yes, your cavity will be worst. Tooth decay can get worst over time because plaque gets stuck in it.
