  • No, it's impossible =) The reason for that is down to your nervous system. Your nervous system is split up into the autonomic nervous system (ANS) and the somatic nervous system (SNS). The ANS is completely involuntary, and does not connect up to the part of your brain that has conscious thought, and this is the nervous system that connects up to cardiac muscle and smooth muscle, making it impossible to control voluntarily. All your skeletal muscles are connected up to the SNS, and this connects to the part of you're brain that does have conscious control. So all skeletal muscles can be controlled voluntarily, unless there's nerve damage =)
