Sociology, if I had chosen anything else, I would be waaaaay too bored to finish. I fought it for a long time thinking that it wasn't the most profitable of trades, but you can't be successful unless you love what you do, so I went for it.

Back in December of 1979 I completed a BA Degree in European History. It was a complete waste of time and money, all the jobs I have found ever since only require a High School Diploma.

Mechanical Engineering. Choose it b/c i have always been a hands on person and realized i could not make a good living as an auto mechanic. So, i just decided to design the engines instead. The large amount of money first year out of school was a big factor. Its important to pick a degree you like, but if its basically useless pick something more practical (meaning with big $$) and keep the other as a hobby.
