These are caused by tiny blood vessels weakening with age, bursting and the surrounding area filling with blood, you can use a cream which will lessen their prominence or if they are large and unsightly your doctor can have them removed

You can buy a simple vitamin K cream made specifically for the fading of spider veins. I have used vitamin K with great results! Get it in your drug-store facial creams section.

They are caused by broken capilleries near the surface of the skin,they increase wih age as the skin thins also more common in smokers,effectively creams wont work,a small needle is passed into the vein to seal it off and then it disappears.A qualified beauty therapist can carry out this treatment.
