because some women know from experience that most men are only interested in satisfying their own urges and tend to forget about satisfying the woman's. . because they like to catch you looking and wag their fingers at you for doing it.

Because they're human and they don't like men to behave like animals. It could be frightening too, especially if the woman doesn't know the man, because she may feel that she's about to get raped. Men are stimulated by sight. Women are stimulated by touch. So maybe instead of staring you should squeeze them and see what kind of response you get.

I think, however, most women don't yell out degrading things at the guys passing by, so guys don't generally have a reason to feel too threatened.

Women that feel that way i assume think of themselves as more than just a peice of ass and get upset when thats all they are treated as. It's ok if its done in good taste and in the right timing but most often its not.

I think that the women that get upset are the ones who see themselves as more than a peice of ass and get upset when thats all that other people see them as. It's ok when its done in good taste and at the right time but its seldome done that way.

Because men are more basic creatures when it comes to sex (I'm not insulting anyone, so don't get in a huff). Women complicate things with ideas like commitment, love, possession, etc... to most men, sex is just sex. To some women too, but my point is that men will generally see something they like and just appreciate it for what it is (attractive). Women will view that as being looked at "like a piece of meat" because they're more focused on what people think of their personalities and intelligence (most of the time).

I don't care who looks or what they think. Its a free world and if I am out in public then I know I am going to be seen. But try to touch and I will break your fingers.

It's all in the way it's done. If I'm out and about and a man looks at me, gives a smile or something etc then I find it flattering. But when car horns get beeped, leery shouts are made, or a stranger tries to touch me (pinch my bum or something) then yes, I get angry/upset. Why should I have to put up with that when I go shopping etc? Some of the things which have been said or gestures that have been made have been disgusting and at times intimidating. Although I would say it's less common, I'd also like to point out that these days there are women who do these things to men and I'd totally support a guy's right to be annoyed!
