Demerol. I can't take any of the others because I am enemic and my liver and kidneys are bad. But I know my husband uses Advil, he says it works for him.

i usually put myself to sleep whenever i have that splitting headache coz i really don't wanna drink pills or any meds as much as i can.. but if i really need it il take advil..

I have found that Excedrin has always worked best for my headaches. Excedrin Migraine is even better, because it contains caffeine, which constricts the blood vessels (the pain associated with migraines and other types of headaches is caused by swollen blood vessels in your brain.) Unfortunately, over the counter, and even prescription analgesics sometimes have no effect on headaches. Some other non medicinal remedies have helped me in the past. Sometimes a hot shower or a cold compress on my forehead helps. The National Headache Foundation Website, http://www.headaches.org/ , has information that may help.

ADVIL works for me. i usually pop 4. there is no stomach upset and headache is gone in 20 minutes. i do suggest you find what works for you. take the reccommended dosage. if it does not work increase by 1. do not take more than 4. if you need more than for you should see your doctor

Herbal tea, a nice hot bath with aromatherapy oils... and time.

Nahh, those are all too weak for me, never underestimate the healing effects of THC. :-)

A hot bath, some water or decaffeinated tea, and plenty of rest beats out pills any day.

I swear by Advil and Ibuprofen. Depending on the headache they also have Advil migraine.
