Is there anything a convicted felon in Illinois can do to find a job. i have a possesion of marijuana charge, class 4, lowwest class. ive been looking non stop for almost 3 months now and nothing. can anyone point me in a direction.

Try Trader Joe's. They don't care about marijuana offenses, rightfully too. You are no criminal. It's too bad that society is still so ignorant.

I live in Ohio. I have a felony. I've worked for Pizza Hut as a manager, Dave's Supermarkets (don't know if you are familiar with them) or try the temporary agencies. Tell them upfront you have a felony, and see what they say. Depends on what skills you have. Factories don't tend to care, if you can pass a drug test.

Go online to Hard2Hire.com Put in your city, state, and zip, and look there. They have employers that are looking for employees based on this system F Felony M Misdemeanor NR Not Rated D DUI It's pretty cool. A lot of voulunteer services are needed (ugh) but being a volunteer can keep you preoccupied, out of trouble, it looks wonderful on a resume, and it's good karma. (Always nice to do something nice to right old wrongs.)
