It must be true, because while I don't think I'm that attractive, others seem to! Ask my husband!
-
if you beholding a beer entirely
-
I think it's very true. Look at all the people out there, that are total opposites of each other.
-
I guess it is a perspective statement. It is in the eyes of the beholder for those looking at you, and then not entirely because actions and perceptions of the person who is being looked at impact on what others see of you. You can effect what people see with what you project.
-
it is all up to ones own perspective. what i feel is beautiful, one might find ugle. as the old saying goes, "one mans junk, is another mans treasure."
-
Depends on who beheld the eye of said beholder.
-
Yes, considering "beauty" is your interpretation of what is seen. Interpretations differ because they're based on each person's own unique life experiences.
-
Yes.People have different opinions.
-
I am doing a project on this and I think that that is true, but culture also plays a huge role in defining beauty.
-
Yes, but not only. It can also be out there.
-
beauty is skin deep, but ugly is to the bone

The beekeeper's wife thinks so!
-
Yes. Everything that we perceive is from our individual point of view.
-
Yes. While there are some basic principles of beauty that the human brain registers as "atrractive", beauty is largely taught through each culture. What is beautiful in one cultural is vulgar in another. Also, we have something different that speaks to us, that draws us in or that we admire - thus, the eye of the beholder may be different based on cultural upbringing, age, stage of life, etc.
-
Yes I do. I have known people who were very attractive..at first, but as I got to know them better and found *some* of them to be conceited and arrogant, they became less and less attractive. On the other hand I have also known those who were considered not that attractive at first, but who's personalities made them absolutely beautiful. Also, people's perception and/or definition of beauty differs.
-
Of course..where else? I find beauty which is meaningful to me and pleases me..you may disagree..am I to take your opinion over my own observation? Of course not..that is ludicrous. So yes, I honestly, truly and really do believe that beauty, truth, principle, character, value, purpose, meaning is in the "eye" of the beholder! :)
-
Yes, example, you could look at a burnt person and see nothing, but that, I would see something completely different. A lot of people have a shallow idea of what beautiful is.
-
Yes, although there is also a societal standard of beauty according to the specific location and ideals of the people living in that community. But each individual person also finds different things beautiful, and of course, physical attractiveness changes once personality is known.
-
Yes I do. I can see a bit of beauty in the ugliest person or thing. Everyone has at least one good attribute that can make them more attractive to another.
-
Everyone says people find different people Beautiful, but really we are all humans and if we see someone attractive heads will turn in their direction I feel " Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder" refers more to a persons personality than physical appearence.
