The same thing millions of people did for years and years before the internet existed, and before people had access to the instant communications and knowledge that the internet brings to all of us. Go to the library. Read books. Call people, instead of emailing. Write letters by hand. Read, read, read. Live life away from a computer, at a slower pace. Have a nervous breakdown and go through withdrawals, of course. What a question <grin>.
-
I would dream of a way to creat an internet!

Spend an awful lots of money sending mail and really peeing off the local post office with all my mail that I would (hopefully) receive in reply. Chatroom by snail mail would be and interesting and frustrating experience...bidding of eBay would be tough but then no gazumping either, research would be back to the library (sigh)...and my telephone bill which is already skyhigh would become astronomical.....make the phone company happy though when I pay the bill

Hello. I don't have the internet. I can only be on this website when i'm at school or in the libary. This is probably sad too. But my parents a cheap skates. I mean come on £15 broadband. But by the time i leave the house the price would probably drop by five quid so even though i'm stressed and depressed every day i do believe i will save more money than you lot.

Once we get used to a gadget, it is hard to live without it. When I was in high school, in the early seventies, there were no VCR's, no Cable TV, no Cell Phones, no 1-800 phones, no CD's or DVD's, no ATM's, and many more.... Just imagine, if we can go back and live in a world without those things we may get very desperate!

Well... before I got internet in my life... I never understood why folks like it so much and can't live without it. Now that I have had it for a long time... I totally understand and I think that I'd probably die of sheer boredom, because I spend a great amount of my time on here. I keep in touch with friends and play games and it's been a blessing to me and not a curse like most people would think. Some people I know can't understand why I can sit and spend so much time on my pc. And those same people are the ones who have never had a chance to experience what the internet has to offer. It'd be hard, but I could live without it.... it's hard to imagine it not in my life.... I love the internet!!! Thanks to whoever created the internet!!!
