If you're one of these obsessive texters, sure. Why people will spend all this time texting back and forth instead of having a 1-minute phone conversation is beyond me.

Why texting ?.. that's too much for me. With 20 I can get hundreds of any minutes and night and weekend.

Yes I would think it is a good deal especially if you have youngsters or teens.

It's an excellent value if you text a lot and would otherwise be charged twenty-five to fifty cents each. You can easily wind up with 30+ texts (sent and received) in a quick dialogue over the course of just one day.

It seems like a ridiculous price to me, but I only pay $5 for unlimited.
