I went to a theatre once unaware that it was a musical. In fact just about everything about the Rocky Horror Show was a surprise. By theatre I mean live theatre.

Yes, I was actually unaware that Rent was a musical. I hadn't seen previews for it, wasn't that interested, but went along with friends anyway. I liked it, though I usually don't enjoy musicals.

no, but my poor husban bought Nama Mia for me for Christmas and offered to watch it with me...boy was he surprised!!!!!!!!!!!

For as much as I heard the name mentioned of The Nightmare Before Christmas... nobody ever said it was a musical (and a pure one at that, devoid of any dialogue)

no but i ran into something even worse!!! years ago. as a teenager. these girls invited me to see a movie. The Mirror Has Two Faces. sounds like a horror or suspense type movie doesnt it??? come to find out it was a movie starring barbra strisand and richard gere about a woman who feels her life is falling apart because her s/o is uninterested in having sex with her!!! barbra strisand and sex dont mix!! it was traumatizing!!! it is the reason i quit going to the movie theaters!!
