Yes, it is normal, at least for some vehicles. Some cars have a quick-acting fuel gauge and a sensitive sensor located off-center. My Honda, for instance, loses almost 1/4 of a tank when I go up a hill, and my old Toyota lost ~1/8 when taking a left turn.

No worry about it. Your gauge could be doin that because your sensor is off yes, but it could also be that your fuel pump is goin bad.

Ya just make sure you keep enough fuel in it or you could starve the engine when accelerating

There is a baffle in the fuel tank that prevents fuel starvation under acceleration. So unless you've radically modified the vehicle from stock, this shouldn't be a problem.
