Broken heart. definitely.

I am going to go out on a limb here and say a broken HEART definitely. Bones heal much more quickly than most hearts, although they will both ache off an on as we age to remind us of our memories.

One is emotional, one is physical. I'd say a broken heart. I imagine some people have lost interest in life because of a broken heart.

A broken heart can cause stress and cause other injuries. A broken heart hurts a lot more than a broken bone. Oh to be scientific, a broken heart can cause death you know.

its hard to tell cuz you ususally get over broken bones but a broken heart you can just fix with a cast....it takes time

It depends on the kind of hurt. For sheer physical pain, the broken bone injury is very sharp and distracting. For sheer mental suffering, the broken heart is mentally hurtful and distracting. But, suffering is a choice...albeit one that is overcome by spiritual and philosophical study and practice. Either one can be included in the category, suffering, hence both can be diminished with wisdom, even though the two pains have different roots and consequences.

With a broken bone, the pain fades, and it just becomes an event that you remember hurt, but with a broken heart, every time you remember the event, It creates a fresh hurt.

A broken Heart is worse:.....A broken bone can be re-set and placed in a cast and good pain killers to ease the pain until it heals. A broken heart is on its own and there is no way to re-set it there is no cast or sling to place it in and no medication or no amount of alcohol can ease the pain of a broken heart, it takes a long time for a heart that has been broken to fully heal and the emotional scars will remain forever.

I've never broken a bone, but even if I had I would still say broken heart.

A broken heart hands down. Break me baby break me, but dontcha break my heart. Broken bones don't inspire generation after generation of bad country western songs. (My baby left me for a coon-hound huntin' whiskey swiggin one-eyed post man from Topeka... I'm drinkin' whiskey and strummin my one string gee-tar coz I got fired from my job at the cannery and can't afford the other strings la la la....)

A broken heart... depending on the break, a broken bone only hurts for a short period of time and then it heals... A broken heart can hurt for much longer, and sometimes it never heals... you just get numb to the pain but it never really goes away.

Broken heart because it's broken forever. Broken bones are temporary.
