OHHHHHHH! Malteds are my favorite. In fact, I keep a container of malted milk in the house to put in my milk when I get the craving. Sometimes I have it on ice cream scoops or I eat it right out of the jar!!! So bad of me.....

Milkshakes. I like vanilla, strawberry, banana and eggnog milkshakes.

Malted Milkshakes. Try the one at Steak N' Shake- fabulous! The best are made with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup and then malt powder. They should have just enough milk in them to mix it all up, and be so thick as to render the straw useless. The malt and the chocolate work together with the flavors playing off of each other. Regular shakes pale in comparison.

I like malts more, because the malt flavor is tasty and unique. sometimes i do prefer milkshakes though, because they are a little thinner and more refreshing

Its been @ least 20 years since I've had a malt and too bad not a lot of fast food restaurants sell those sort of things.

I like both but usually prefer milkshakes. Especially if they are good and thick and made with real ice cream, like they have at Steak n Shake.
