the same thing happens to me..so i went into my watch list and deleted all the questions..so far its worked..its all new to me so i will learn as i go along good luck :)

Yes. Go to your profile. Click MY SETTINGS tab. In there, click PREFERENCES. Click OFF what you don't want and ON what you do. Click Update.

if you hit "my settings" and then "preferences" you can change how much you want sent to you.

It took a long time for mine to stop. Sorry I can't help. Maybe double check to make sure you did it right.

The only emails you should get concern rejected moderation, if someone flagged (and it was accepted) one of YOUR questions, and new answers to anything on your Watch List (which includes Answers to your own questions), if you have all other emails turned off. You can't turn off the rejected mod emails, or those telling you that your question or answer was rejected. Those on your Watch List will be others' questions that you answered, or your own questions. Other's Questions: When you answer a question, just above the SUBMIT button, is a line that says "Send me answers to this question". If it's checked, you will receive answers to that question. If not, you shouldn't. Your own questions automatically get put on the Watch List. To clear them, go to your profile, click "My Q&A", then Watch List. In the header should be "Edit Watch List". When you do, the questions you are watching are listed. Click all the boxes of all the questions you no longer wish to receive email for, and click DELETE at the bottom of the page. (You may have to do this a page at a time.) When done, you should only receive emails for those questions on the list. All other information should be available on your Feedback and Activity pages.
