From the time of being little kids, girls are taught it's OK to cry; boys are taught it's not. Men don't understand why women can't just control themselves in a tough situation. Men have the idea that crying is something you do when you have time for it, but crying doesn't solve anything. Men want to "fix the problem," if possible. Obviously, if the problem is that someone has died (for instance), that can't be fixed. But I'm referring to something like a high-stress work situation. Men think that if a person can't keep her/himself from crying in the workplace that the person might fail to do the right thing in a difficult situation. It's not fair that girls are taught different attitudes than boys are, but it happens in a LOT of families. Women can also be crying due to hormonal changes, which is baffling (and annoying) to men. But at least "hormonal changes" is a REASON that a man can grasp, unlike crying due to a stressful situation. Sorry. It's harsh. It's true. You asked.

Women (and men) cry for a lot of different reasons. I don't see it as a weakness at all, but a very human aspect of a person. But if a person cries a lot, I wouldn't like that. It's emotionally burdensome and depressing.

I don't like to deal with those people, they always ruin a good time complaining about even the most trivial problems.

I think there is nothing wrong with a girl crying frequently. Girls are very emotional and take thens to heart etc and it builds up in them so its healthy for them to cry as they are letting their stress and tentsion out. Just be there for the girls and if they cry hold them, comfort them etc.
