You're reading What form does Scientology training take?

Actually, what you describe is auditing. "Training" is what Scn'ists refer to as taking courses. Some of the courses have auditing on them, many do not. The ones that do have auditing on them teach the person TO audit. Some are "co-audit" which means one would learn how to audit and would receive auditing from another student also learning. Some courses have no auditing. Most Scn courses have drills, essays, "practicals" (where one puts the idea into practice and tries it out in some way) stuff to read, "checkouts" (where another student or course supv reviews the material with the person to see if they understand it).
