It would depend on where you're traveling from. If you're traveling from anywhere past the City, the NY airports would make sense, if you're traveling from NJ, Rockland, Orange Counties or even Westchester County or Connecticut, Newark is more accessible

LaGuardia simply because i used to live in Dyckman, so it was the closest airport to where i lived on 207 st. & vermilyea ave. and it also depends on where in the 5 boroughs you are. if in queens, manhattan & the bronx, LaGuardia would be your best bet. if in staten island or brooklyn, JFK would be more suitable
