Why do people think misogynists are homosexual? I'm a misogynist and I'm not into homosexuality.

Guess I'd never related the two subjects together. A misogynist can hate women without wanting to have sex with men and just because they hate women, that doesn't mean a misogynist won't have sex with them. It's a twisted little world sometimes. lol

Another one of those stereotypes. I don't know where it came from exactly. But I do know that back in the era of film noir and pulp fictions, a lot of writers (like the guy who wrote the Maltese Falcon) were homosexuals and thought that women were just evil temptresses - hence the emergence of your stereotypical femme fatale: the sinister and sexy woman who seduces men to get what she wants, be it money or murder =) I think it might also come from "well if you don't like WOMEN, who DO you like?" kind of mentality.

Because most people are not asexual. Most people are heterosexual. A Mysogynist is a person who does not like women. An asexual person is not interested in sex of any kind.

I don't see where this stereotype has came from, after all most gay men love women, they just wouldn't have sex with them and misogynists just hate women all together.

Because all u need to do is ignore us women and do little else to know u r not interested. Neither r we. Really because i hate to be stereotyped as a girl that wants guy's sexual advances. I would rather u ignore us or be friends and nothing more than that.
