I dont throw my calendars away, they are funny to look at later. I am anxious to start a new year. -
I keep the ones that have pictures, and hang them in the hallway. I keep the ones we put on the refrigerator, so when I write my memoirs, I will have a record of what I did and when.

There is some sentimentalism there, especially when you've marked the dates with events and notations... so yes, there is a bit of mixed emotion..

i feel neither sad or glad, i just replace it with a new calendar; it's no big deal.

For as long as I can remember I have never thrown away calendars when a new year comes in. It will be the same this year too. Calenders are made of excellent paper and they make very good material for envelopes. Very good for mending old books too. And I am a good envelope crafter and book binder.
