  • Less fortunate. I wasn't born into a family with money.
  • I may have been born less fortunate but it gave me what I needed to become Very Very Fortunate!! Both.
  • I consider myself very fortunate. I volunteer at an organization that helps homeless and low income clients so I realize that I am very fortunate to have what I have.
  • more fortunate than most.
  • Fortunate...I have a job, friends and a roof over my head...
  • I consider myself fortunate -- I have a decent job, a roof over my head, a car that doesn't argue with me too much, a few close friends, brothers that I love dearly, and great pets. I don't have any of the material things that most of my friends have -- fancy home, new car, latest technology, etc. But, I'm much better off than so many people that I have no choice but to consider myself fortunate.
  • Fortunate. Maybe not in the eyes of most. I am currently laid off and so is my husband. We might be living below the poverty line but I am certainly not LESS fortunate. I am alive, I have my health, I have a roof over my head, warm bed, hot food and a good husband. I consider myself very lucky for having these needs met at all. So many do not.....
  • Fortunate I have no disabilities or ailments at all. I have a home , bed , running hot water , clothes , a loving family and food. Plus good education and the chance to go to university as well as living in a relatively safe and stable country.
  • I'm immensely fortunate. I was born in a very wealthy and stable country and into a very loving and supportive family. Likewise, I was born healthy and was never left wanting for the "needs" in life: shelter, medicine, food, et cetera. On top of that, I was given opportunities to better myself and allowed to follow whatever dreams I could concoct. I'm not a 7' tall super hero slash astronaut slash athlete, but it could have been a heck of a lot worse.
  • Waaay too fortunate! My grandad was an immigrant coal miner; my dad a 'target' in two wars; and me a "philosopher-saint"! How cool is *that* "fortune"?! ;-)
  • fortunate
  • My lucky star left me the day that I was born...so I can never say that I am fortunate
