I am a very jealous person (if you squeezed me, I might leak green goo) and to keep it under control, I try to better myself. Jealousy often stems from a feeling of inferiority, and to overcome that, you need to feel good about yourself. Dealing with jealousy from others however, is very different. I try to steer clear of people who are jealous of me, since I know how destructive the effects can be. Talking to a person jealous of you won't help; it just might make it worse. So steer clear and don't let jealous people catch up with you and don't let your own jealousy consume you.

I've removed that from myself and as for others, that is their own problem to deal with.

I've never felt that emotion..jealousy or envy..not even when I was a little girl. So I've never had to personally deal with it within myself. I had a fiance once who was extremely possessive..he was jealous of anything and anyone that took my attention away from him..like my son, my work, my friends..so I dumped him. I do not respond well to being smothered. :) ((hugs))

I control it by not going out too much. I do have a habit of getting jealous because I see men with very attractive women.

I don't feel jealousy of any kind. A flaw in my make up? Maybe. Dealing with the jealousy of others is always a tricky one since I don't know how it feels. I end up just asking "but why do you feel that way".
