Yes, even though they're not endowed with verbal ability, they are more sensitive in other areas. Which is why the livestocks suffer much more deep down than what those hidden video footages shows. And here comes a concoction of aggressive, abusive and/or sarcastic comments and DRs possibly enhanced by some alcoholic spirits.....

Many animals can actually smell trouble. Some dogs are currently being trained to smell cancer, heart attack, and some other medical problems.

I was out walking a dog I had a few years ago. Foolishly I was walking somewhere I'd never been before, in the dark, with no torch. Suddenly my dog stopped and refused to go any further. I tried pulling on his lead, pleading with him to continue. But he was having none of it. I wondered if he was sensing or seeing something I wasn't aware of. I gingerly stepped forward peering into the dark and to my horror, I eventually saw the reason why he didn't want us to go any further. We were heading towards an edge of a cliff. :O This is a pic of Samson the dog who stopped me walking off the edge.........................

i believe your cat can sense alot about you.
-
There is no doubt about it...
-
Absolutely without a doubt. Not only can they pick up on it, but they will be influenced by it also. Unless you are talking about a pet hermit crab or something like that.
-
Sure, some pets can pick it up before another family member does. :-)
-
yes they can
-
I thought you have cats. You know they can. Also, some dogs and cats can sense when a person is going to pass away and will go lay down by them to comfort them as they pass.
-
Yes they can I heard that emotions give off a certain chemical the brain produces and animals can pick up on it. Like they can literally smell fear.
-
I have had a number of dogs and cats. Yes they can.
-
Hell yes
-
Yes they can. I think our dog can even tell what I am thinking without me saying anything. As in; when I want her to go outside or stop doing something I can just look at her and she'll do it.

My boy Gus can read me like a book. He knows just how to greet me and always finds a way to make me feel better. He is a good dog and a great friend.
-

My horse did it today. He licked my tears.Love you Stormy dear.

Absolutely yes. One of my cats no longer with us, would sit on the lap of anyone in the family who was crying until they stopped (and then some). He just wanted us to cheer up, and gave us snuggly hugs to help with our sadness.
