  • I'm assuming it can increase the chance of having blood clots from the pill, Id call up a pharmacist and ask, but its always a better idea not to smoke while on the pill.
  • Any time you ingest smoke (and 2nd hand smoke some say is as bad or worse than if you were smoking) you are taking in the same things. So I would stay away from it yes, even if you were not on the pill.
  • Yes, it is as bad as smoking. Stay away from 2nd hand-passive smoke if you are on the pill. Watching people drink, on the other hand, won't hurt you abit.
  • The pill itself is the one that can cause strokes, and blood clots. If you are a smoker it simply increases the chances. I know MANY who have come in contact with 2nd hand smoke while on the pill and were not affected.
  • the question itself needs to be focussed.. A woman who smokes the average dose will have an average, eight year early onset of menapause.. what this shows is that the long list of dangerous constituents of tobacco smoke, whether you suck it out of the cigarette or breath it from the airspace, are, dangerous at the basic level of functioning of the body.. here the hormonal system, such a reliable and basic system, can be changed so radically.. whatever solid reliable reasearch has demonstrated for tobacco smoke sucked from a cigarette also applies to tobacco smoke breathed from the airspace.. it is only a matter of relative dose.. unions and workplace specialists have thoroughly tested workplace airspaces [one of the first being aircraft cabin airspaces] and found that if there is a high load of smoke from the end of burning cigarettes and from the ezhaled lungs of smokers, then the nonsmoking victims forced to breath the smoke from the airspace will, must, breath in a high load of smoke also.. research has been done on the one smoker family, the two smoker family etc, and the amount of smoke inhaled by others, including children, and, unborn babies.. you can easily find this information today.. mass nicotine addiction accured before the highly addictive status of nicotine was proven, now vested interests and corrupton forces work to prevent sane responses by some govts to this 'highly addictive' 'supertoxin'.. [same categories as heroin and strychnine] 'cause blood clots or heart attacks . .' is like saying 'can being raped give you a headache'.. this is not, to trivialise rape.. nicotine does constrict blood vessels, which can, result in coronary thrombosis or blood clot blocking an artery causing heart attack and death . . But you would have to be very unlucky to have all the prerequisites happen together at that time.. perhaps the only relevant viewpoint for that is the ones who have, been killed by, nicotine constricted blood vessels causing thrombosis.. or their families and loved ones . . if you really want to know, work out what, exactly, you want to know about the pill, blood clots, tobacco smoke then do targetted searches on google etc, its all there today for the knowing.. but there is just so, much, known today, and so much research etc that you could structure a hundred university courses around just tobacco caused diseases. just refuse to breath ETS pollution,, carl namaste
