  • I don't think a gift could ever be a bad thing. If you give someone a gift that you don't want and aren't going to use yet feel that they could find a use for it then where is the harm in that? If you are only going to throw it away or discard it somewhere in your house then why not try and put it to good use by giving it to someone that may take pleasure in it's uses.
  • not at all (unless it's in terrible shape) I gave all recycled gifts this year and saved about $100. And my bf much appreciates my old camera (good shape 7 megapixels), mp3 player (kind of suckey but better than nothing) and dvd player (portable and can connect to the car or the tv) I gave him because I got better ones this year as presents. He makes me realize how materially spoiled I really am, but I love to share as much as I can to see the smiles all around me. :)
  • No its not. If its a gift that you had no use for yourself then why not give it away to someone whom you think may like it?
  • The only acceptable recycled gift would be a family heirloom. A ring, a necklace or ear rings belonging to a deceased family member. Giving a gift from Goodwill, just does not set well with me..........or the receiver.
  • i believe that if you dont want or need it, there is someone who can always appreciate the gift. recycled gifts are the best thing since sliced bread
  • depends on who is getting the gift. Some people wouldnt like it, others wouldnt care.
  • I believe gifts should be recycled. Otherwise we end up with too many gifts taking up and cluttering our valuable space.
