Yes, I liked Pardes, Saathiya, Devdas, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Bluffmaster.

The only one I've ever seen was this musical. I don't remember what it was called, but it was crazy awesome.

The one where the girl falls in love with the guy but then something happens and they sing for 2 hours and get back together. Happy endings are great!

I don't see them often, but when I am in Indonesia, they are there (subtitled) on the TV....they all pretty much have the same plot, but who cares...they are brilliant escapist dance movies...and the costumes.....wonderful

I stongly recommend Lagaan with the gilli-Danda / Cricket storyline; Veer Zara with Rani Mukherji and most every movie wiht Shah-Rukh Khan, and the immortal and "muy alto" Amitabh Bachan who was excellent in Black which was a good take on the Hellen Keller story. There are more but I can't name them all.

i've watched Indiana Jones, it had Hindi people in it otherwise, maybe just a couple clips here and there watching the discovery channel about how bollywood is not actually a place but a business and gets named the poor cousin to hollywood.

Yes. I love most of the Hindi movies. But my favorite are the ones where you do not have to think much like Golmal,Ugly or Pagli,Singh is Kingg and so on.

I have tried watching them on the asian channels. Although I think they are fun I just do no get them. But this is probably a fault of mine as I am ignorant to their culture.
