After dealing with the politicians he'd have no choice but to say: "Beam . . . me out of DC . . . Scotty; there is no . . . intelligent life here!" ;0)

Although James Tiberius Kirk was born in Iowa. The actor best known for portraying the character was born in Canada. So I'm not sure about the statement in Article 2, Section One, Clause Five of the U.S. Constitution where it states; "No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States." William Shatner was born a Canadian so he deosn't meet the criteria, but then again the character James T. Kirk hasn't resided for fourteen years in the United States. This last statement may be subject to revision if Abrahams' re-boot of the Star Trek franchise manages to re-write the early years of Kirk keping him earth-bound. Hope this helps.

I'd vote for Kirk, but than I'd wonder how many times he'd change first lady, seeing how he always had a different girlfriend in each episode
