  My dad crossed the united states illegally about 19 years ago. He met my mother after being here for a couple of months. She is an american citizen. He and my mother had 3 children.   I am currently studying at a 4-year university. I have a 4.0 GPA and by the time I transfer I will have a 65 credits (most of them will not most likely not transfer because I am at a private university). I did: "I'm learning English" for the Simple Continuous, and she said it was wrong because it must have the word "now". I don't know. It is right in English if I write :" I'm learning English" without any context
