No. I did try buffalo steak. It's delicious. Like beef, but with a much finer texture. Funny, I was just thinking that hunters wiped out the Passenger Pigeons. When we first moved West, there were flocks of them large enough to darken the entire sky. By the 1800s, we hunted them to extinction. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Passenger_Pigeon We almost did the same to the American Bison (not really a buffalo). If it hadn't been for them tasting so good, and supplying so much meat, they would almost certainly be gone with the carrier pigeons.
