great japanese chefs create aesthetic wonders ~ the food is so visually appealing. i also like that they like to keep the preparation simple ~ and let the natural flavors of the food really shine through. they marry flavors marvelously. i am a huge fan of their sushi, noodle dishes, their delicate pastries & desserts, and their meats (kobe beef with maitake mushrooms ~ wow!)

The better chefs and restaurants stress freshness. Even the neighborhood izakaya run by the local chef will take pride in how fresh is sashimi is or how tasty his vegetable dishes are.

I just ate at a Japanese Hibachi grill the other day, but the cooks were Indonesian! I love Japanese food, it's not as greasy as Chinese food and i think it's more filling. Chinese food always leaves you hungry after 30 minutes. But i can eat Japanese and not eat for hours!

It's really fresh tasting & there's a wide variety. I would suggest going to Maki-Maki best Japanese food ever!

Absolutely nothing! They have some strange dishes made out uncooked fish and some other stuff I can't even pronounce. I don't eat uncooked food.
