How would i know it was to truly save the world and not because some demon was fooling me into doing it?
-
No. I do not love anyone that much. Absolutely not. Nor could I stand by and watch while others did. (Kinda puts God's love for us in a whole new perspective...)
-
NEVER! My children ARE my world.
-
i am completely horrified by that question. absolutely not. so don't depend on me to save the world, pick someone else. i'm sorry, i just couldn't do it.
-
ok, I can only say: don't count on me, if my child has to die we are all going down with him.
-
No I would have to be selfish here. No way could I kill my own child we would all just have to die sorry.
-
Without a doubt and without hesitation, my kids know if the world is ever in need of a good saving that they are screwed.
-
I think if there is a call to be SACRIFICE, the individual being sacrificed needs to be the one to make the choice. I could offer myself, but I could never offer my child. Good hard..."think about it" question!
-
Abraham offered up his son to God as instructed, as a sacrifice. God gave His Son to die for the sins of mankind. If I was ever put in such a position, I would do what the father of the captured solider is Israel recently has done, offer myself up instead in the place of my child.
-
No.
-
HELLL NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
if i could take my kids place i would die for it instead of killing it.but then again it depents on how specific u can be with that question
-
Assuming I had a child, not one person would harm a hair on its head. I'd think screw the world. Its something I just wouldn't do. I'd rather gouge my own eyes out, or sacrafice myself, anything. And I don't even have one or want one
-
I'm sorry .....but no I couldn't. Both of my children are my reason for living.
-
I don't have a child, but I think I could safely say no, I couldn't.
-
It goes against very basic human nature to kill your own child. That's why it's so unbelievable when you hear of some mother or father doing that. I would be very worried about anyone that could answer yes to this question, whether for religious reasons or any other.
-
plain and simple..no
-
Nope. Couldn't do it. There was a similar chain email that went around. The story goes, your child's blood is needed to make a vaccine that will cure everyone else in the world. The problem is that they don't stop taking the blood. They take more and more telling you they are sorry, but it's to save the world. They must take it all. I cried when I read it. I think it was supposed to be a reflection for God's love, giving up his son. Just bothered me. I'm still haunted by it.
-
no
-
No way, would never contemplate it.
-
It might sound selfish, but no. There isn't any possible scenario I can think of that would make me take the life of my child.
-
No way! I would only kill my child if I got like 10 50" plasma HDTVs with Tivo and Dish.
-
i cannnnnnnnnnnnnnnottttttttt do thatttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt at allllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
-
No, never.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:16-17 KJV How marvelous to know that God's love for all of his children was so great that he willingly sacrificed his only son Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ so the price of our sins could be paid for through his attoning sacrifice and through the shedding of his innocent blood. God did not kill Jesus he merely offered him up as a sacrifice to pay the price for our sins because he knew there would be no other way to save those of us who believe in his Holy name from the spiritual death that sin causes. Could I make a sacrifice like that if asked to. More than likely not but it brings great joy to my heart to know God in his infinite wisdom put our need for salvation from sin ahead of his own needs and made the ultimate sacrifice so we could be saved.
-
Absolutely NOT!
-
to save the world? :| ...to save the world... good question... i dont HAVE a child yet, my mind says i would do it but i might be wrong
-
Yes ofcourse but after that I would kill myself
-

-
Yeah.
-
yes, its called an abortion...my boyfirend will be happy to hear this
-
naw betch. =[
-
I Could never even think of it. However, if i didnt kill my chlid, he would die anyway, and all the other children. I would have to think of all the other parents in the world and all there children dieing. I couldnt be that selfish, especially not when my child would die anyway.
-
I don't have a child so I might not have any authority to comment here, but I probably could kill them. Even though that sounds horrible, without the earth there would be no more humans, no more animals, no more of anything that we love & know. I would think that not killing my child would be selfish as if it were up to me, I'd be killing four billion people instead of just one. I'd feel more guilty not killing my child.
