Never had timewarner but I told directv I would tell everyone how terrible they were. 1. Called to sign up and received rate, but, not disclosed to me, rate quoted not for full term of contract, just 12 of the 18 months. WAS TOLD SHOULD HAVE LOOKED INTO IT BETTER AND NOT JUST TALKED TO THEIR PERSON AT THEIR 800 # 2. They charged $250 to close my dads account after he died and wanted a copy of the death cerificate or would not stop monthly bill because he has to stop service, even if I paid the $250 to cancel the contract.
