I used to be motivated by the goals that I adopted from others. I desired things and environments that they had. I slowly came to understand that these were not true desires of mine. While some of the environments and things I have were among those that I admired in others, I know that these are my things and this is my life. I got here and got these things by traveling my our route, not someone else's, so they are intrinsically me, not some externalized desire. So, *I* am my own motivator now. And I couldn't be happier.

My mother's memory. I find myself doing everything with her in mind. I guess it makes me feel better like she's still here with me. It's a way of keeping her spirit alive. I know it sounds cheesy! LOL I was going to answer differently at first, but then I thought about it and realized she is my motivation for most of the things I do (or don't do) in my life. :)

I'm so unmotivated most of the time its painful, even to myself. I have got to the point in my life where I honestly just don't really care anymore about much whatsoever. Really, hanging on is alright for me at the minute, and my love is my only motivation for that

My motivation to perform well in class and my daily life comes from thinking about my future. Having a goal to aim for really helps me bug up and perform well as I fear losing out in life. Like for example, I want to enter the university, after looking through the prospectus/oline, looking at the accommodation, researching about the city, I feel motivated to succeed because I WANT to get there.
