  • My ex mother-in-law regulates it. Any time anyone went to use the facilities in her home she said, "Don't use more than 4 squares please!" If my ex and I were visiting with our 2 kids, she'd say, "please bring a roll of TP with you!" Yup, she was priceless.
  • The three little ladies that sit all day and quilt their northern toilet paper are the true regulators of toilet paper. since 1930, these ladies have sat at the same table, quilting away only leaving to eat and potty breaks. who knows who regulates toilet paper and who cares? thats the least of everybody's worry with terroists knocking at our doors!!!
  • I understand that somewhere in the 2007 budget that was just submitted, President Bush has proposed setting up a new agency, The Federal Toilet Paper Regulatory Agency (FTPRA), a new dumping ground for political cronies who couldn't hack it at FEMA..
  • I think that it regulates itself just fine, more so than unregulated people. Just imagine, if you can, how recycled toilet paper feels about life.
  • when you refuse to buy anymore and have one last roll... people begin to think about wasting it!
  • In your head (I hope). My nan is convinced she can only use one square (shudder)
  • Well since people cant really change so easily,we just have to start with all the kids and teach them how to use it most efficiently. Like..you dont need to get a 10 layer wrap of toilet paper on your arm. Kids dont know this and not everyone teaches them this. Its just something you do when not aware of it. Or want to have fun while on the potty... Also, maybe some awareness programs for those of us that live in such spoilt countries and live where we never have to even think about something like this. Maybe the governments should outlaw toilet paper and give people bushes instead: "This is your lot, its your responsibilty to make it last for you and your family forever..." I dunno. Sadly its not easy answering a question that has different answers for places/people. Especially when the only ones reading it can most likely afford to use however much toilet paper they want. If you cant, sell your computer.
  • one square at a time.......
  • Since Sam's Club came along, regulation is no longer needed. You just by all 48 roll that you need for the week/month/lifetime and go on about life eating your chips out of a 5 gallon bucket and your pop out of a 4 liter bottle.
  • As you can see from these answers, no one actually regulates toilet paper, but many seem to wish they would.
  • Each member of the family is allocated one portion of the roll, the size of which depending on the irritability of their bowels.
