"If you are pregnant, you have probably heard about other women who have their periods during pregnancy. This story seems to cycle throughout the generations and is almost an urban legend now. Everyone seems to know someone who has a friend who got their period during their pregnancy! Many women can experience episodes of bleeding and spotting during pregnancy. Bleeding is especially common in the first trimester and about 30% of pregnant women experience bleeding during this time." http://www.pregnancy-info.net/comp_periods_pregnancy.html So yes

suggestion, take a pregnancy test, or go to a doctor to be tested if you are really worried. that's the only way to be sure.

I know of two different women who were pregnant and didn't know right away because they had their periods. One had their period for a month after becoming pregnant and the other had hers for 3 months after becoming pregnant.

Yes you can have your first period and still be pregnant. You should get it checked out and go to a doctor to get a pregnancy test sometimes the home ones don't work. My friend didn't know she was pregnant for about a month or two because she had her first period.

What you may have had was not an actual period. it could have been implantation bleeding which is quite common during pregnancy. It happenes at the time a woman would normally expect her period to come and it is caused by the fertilized egg implanting its-self into the woman's uterus. my best advice is to take a pregnancy test and then head to a doctor dotnotdottie@aol.com
