How do I open ms-dos without having to open windows? -what I want to achieve is to have only dos poen, and not vista.

With vista its not so easy you can try rebooting into safe mode with command prompt past that...still vista.

Not an option with Vista. Unlike many previous versions of Windows, Vista isn't dependant on DOS.
