  • no. It's a sign of desire. You don't have to be imperfect to have temptations.
  • We're biological animals, of course temptation is not a sign of imperfection. A tiger isn't tempted to kill it's pray by the smells it receives? A bee isn't tempted to pick up some pollen by the pollens chemical messages? A spider isn't tempted to build a web to catch flies? We're animals. We have natural instincts. What defines us from the others is that we can consider our temptation and gauge it's importance and priority, and then we need to fight between appropriateness and ego to decide what to do. When the importance of obtaining the temptation (or the effect of obtaining the temptation) is much less than your ego's desire to obtain it, of course you will feel 'imperfect' and 'selfish' - the fact is that it's a biological chemical reaction in your brain, you are only responding to your cultural and demographical position, along with your gauging of importance and the strength of your ego. Sometimes ego wins, and that's just life. Note: 'ego' in this sense is 'what I want' - as opposed to 'id', which is 'what I should do', and 'superego', or 'what I will do having considered my id and ego'.
  • Its a sign that you are human that makes mistakes like the rest of us miri.
  • First not thing is perfect and second, temptation can be just consider a choice, can be good or bad.
  • Do you mean acting on temptation or having temptations? Everyone has temptations, not everyone acts on them, and everyone is imperfect.
