Contact lens wearers! Have you ever tried to cry to lubricate them when you're wearing them?

No. I'm not too good at forcing myself to cry. I always carry a small bottle of saline solution with me.

Hey I don't wear contacts but my dad is an ophthalmologist. The contacts you have may not be quite right for you. Try getting some different ones. Its ok to use eye drops or saline solution in your eyes once in a while but if you use them too often then your body will become dependent on the drops and decrease the production of tears. Dave

Yes, any type of eyedrops seem to work for me, even the contact solution that I store my contacts works pretty well (I wear 2 week disposables). if I don't have any on hand and my contacts get a little dry, rapidly opening and closing my eyes can be a quick fix.

Yes, I didn't blink for a while and then my eyes started producing tears. It only works temporarily, since the tears don't get between my contact lenses and the corneas.

Yes, and it helps if you manage to get a few tears before you put them on too, because and then they just slip right on your eye no problem
