dont single out white people, I hear black people say it all the time, from my vault of useless knowledge, we black people who do say the stupid term equat beaner with short slang for bean eater combine the two and ebonically speaking you have bean + eater= beaner.

Gringos and others use the slang term to refer to Mexicans because pinto beans and black beans make up a large part of their diets. I am not partial to the term hispanics meaning "Historicly Spanish" I live with and around many Mexicans and see no disrespect in the name Mexican because they are from Mexico. I do find offence to the term "beaner" and consider it disrespectful.
