When and if there is an auction the paints are highly marketable and expensive, his ceramic works are not that important but there is a good demand for them and are not even near to cheap. Here is an example of his ceramic work:

Picasso's ceramics are not as inportant as his paintings, but they are still quite marketable, because they are cheaper (not saying that they are cheap at all, but in comparison to the millions you should have to pay for a piainting, the thousands of dollars you have to pay for a ceramic ARE comparably cheap). His ceramics are usually editioned and not unique - like printed works. Some of them are very beautiful, even if the initial idea for them might have been very commercial.
About 15 years ago I saw a painting at a famous museum in Amsterdam...It was a minor piece by Picasso. It was composed of a simple vase
