see: massage with happy ending but seriously, small scale 'explosions' do occur, with the right pressure in vasculature and lymphatic vesslels, there can be small scale explosions and often cause small microtissue damages. other issues then are increases or decreases in blood or lymph to places it should or should not be. (see stroke as example).
