  • there are several possibilities. lcd screens function with a grid of resistors in the three colors, red, green and blue. if your screen is green, then two of the colored resistor matices aren't working. since each pixel is independent, it's not like they can burn out. your problem is either in the adjustment of the screen, or the circuitry that controls it. first start with the simplest answer. 1. turn the screen off agiain, unplug it from the wall, plug it in again, turn it on. 2. double check all of the color settings in the menus. 3. if your tv has an auto adjust button, try that. 4. check the cables going into it. if you use component video, cable breaks could cause colors not to show. if you still can't get any other colors, the internal circuity that controls the screen probably needs to be replaced, and you should contact the manufacturer.
