Way too commercial. . .the true meaning is getting burried under it all ; ( People are feeling guilty when they can't afford to buy gifts, the secret santa thing isn't something everyone can afford to do. It's so sad to see this happening to a day that should be filled with love and joy.

Sadly, yes. The spiritual side of Christmas has been lost for years. It has become too commercial. Rather than a religious holiday it has devolved into a social holiday. It's to the point where if a child wants a radio or the like, you are told the exact model to get them. So can't blame just the merchants when the customers go along with it.
