  • i prefer it to be natural and genuine though i'm not really a writer. it's just that the more i try to write sometimes nothing comes out but when i don't try it just flows. i noticed though that i seem to work best working on a deadline. i remember trying to write a speech for my sister's wedding months ahead but i was only able to come up with a couple of sentences yet i was able to finish everything the night before the wedding. another incident is this essay for a promotion. i was able to write smoothly on the day of the deadline itself. 0_0
  • Just start and keep writing, even if it's complete nonsense. Sooner or later sense and inspiration will kick in.
  • I think you can force yourself to think of something else. Then, and only when your not thinking about it, you will unblock.
  • I simply use a large hammer
  • In my experience, you can force yourself out of writer's block 80% of the time by devoting a regular hour or two to writing every day, even if you produce only one or two sentences during that time. Routine is remarkably effective, but perhaps not universally so.
