However you make it change. I have known many people who made huge changes and others just stayed at home. The best thing you can do for yourself is to go to college.

Next stage of adulthood

Your parents will and should expect you to either go to college or get a job and start paying your part of the bills. It's great to be at the point in your life where you are considered to be an adult but actually being an adult makes you also more responsible for yourself, legally and financially.

Unreality burns off and reality "hits." You can either accept it, adjust and grow further or ignore it, stay fixed and stunt your growth. The two words that move you forward are "self responsibility." The word that stunts your growth is "irresponsibility." I've done both and I've seen both.
