  • That one of 'em just broke wind?
  • Hi sweetie pie... This is one of my all time favorite things to do so... Shakespeare was a master at the art of the metaphor. By saying this, it was to show that wherever they went, the air around them was dark and foul... The fowl being in reference to the omnoius aire of the presense of the crow... Where goes the crow so goes death and misery... Not in the book, but a common thought on the crow in those days. So basically, that was his way of saying that wherever the witches went, so went an air of darkness and filth that was all fair to them. In other words... Evil. As he often referenced and compared Darkness to Evil.
  • The witches meant that things aren't going to be as they seem.
  • "You can't judge a book by its cover" .. things that seem foul may be fair, and vice-versa.
