Ha!! I bet my boyfriend would do that! No, not the least bit, but I'm a very practical person myself.
-
Not at all. Being thrifty is something I would like to see! I must admit, it might be a little awkward but I would be impressed.
-
No, I would just be thankful that he was nice enough to take me out for dinner. It wouldn't bother me.
-
No. It would mean that he took advantage of a deal and thought of me. I wouldn't mind if my boyfriend would do that for me, actually. It would be better than knowing that he put so much of his money into trying to impress me. I'm not with him for his money. I'm with him because I love him. If that means he is going to buy me dinner with a 2-for-1 coupon, then that's alright with me.

there is a difference between buying a freind dinner and buying a date dinner. if you are just friends, there is nothing wrong with it. if it was a date then maybe he's jus saving the pennies to buy you a ring!
-
It means he is probably wise with his money. Hang on to him!
-
Why would you be insulted? I can see how its a special occasion and all, but I think it's very responsible and smart :)
-
I think it would show he is thrifty which I like, thoughtful which I like, and kind for asking me out for dinner which I like. I would not be at all insulted.
-
No I don't care. Money isn't important. It's the thought that counts.
-
There is nothing at all wrong with this. I find this idea great because everyone wins. You get a great meal and he gets a free one and the restaurant still makes money! Everyone happy!
-
Well, I am married. But if it was my boy friend nope it would not bother me. It'd tell me he is a practical person and knows how to save money rather than waste it.
-
I wouldn't be insulted, it's a logical choice and it just means more money for next time.
